Flock Race — Privacy Policy

Short version: no accounts, no names you type, no location. To race other players we store your runs under a random ID. The free version shows ads from Google AdMob.

What we store, and why

A random player ID (Firebase Anonymous Authentication) — so your runs and invites belong to you. It is not linked to your name, email or Apple ID.
Your runs: score, flock size, zone reached and the replay of your taps (a "ghost") — so others can race your best run of the day. Runs are deleted after 8 days.
A generated pilot name (e.g. "Misty Lark 78") — you never type a name.
Your country, taken from your device's region setting (not your location), for the country board. You can turn this off in Settings.
Reports and blocks of other players you choose to make.
Friend invites: your invite code, who invited you (if anyone) and how many runs you've finished (up to 3). To count each device only once we ask Apple's DeviceCheck to set or read a single yes/no flag; we don't keep any device identifier.

This data is stored with Google Firebase (Realtime Database, Asia region). We don't sell it or use it for advertising.

Purchases

All purchases are one-time and processed by Apple. We never see your payment details.

Advertising & tracking

The free version shows ads through Google AdMob, which may collect device identifiers and usage data as described in Google's Privacy Policy. We ask through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any tracking; if you decline, ads are not personalised. "Remove ads" turns ads off.

Children

Flock Race is not directed at children under 13 and we don't knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your choices

Turn off showing your country in Settings. To delete your runs and invite records, email us the pilot name shown in the app.
